To get a job: scroll down to "Ministry of Magic" and you will find jobs there
Moving up the ranks: scroll down/ click on "graduating years". Then, click on "moving up the ranks" and it'll tell you what you need!
Get your supplies:: go to Diagon alley and post a reply in whatever shop that has the things you want; your first wand and book are free!
How to get galleons:
1. post, post and post!
2. some jobs pay galleons (I think)
How to get House points:
1. contests and some games
2. doing homework may get you points
How to send a PM (private message):
click on person's name you want to PM, and it will have an option to send a PM
Passwords:
You get passwords to get into restricted areas, such as common rooms, the teachers' lounge, etc. If you are authorized to be in those areas, you get a password! If you forget, PM whoever is in charge of that area to give you the password!
